You can upload text-based PDF files, Word documents (.docx), and plain text files (.txt). You can also paste text directly into the editor without uploading a file - useful when your content is already open in another tab or copy-pasted from a digital document. If you have a scanned PDF (a photo of paper), copy the text with an OCR tool first and paste it directly into Quizrow.

The AI generates 10 questions by default. After generation you can delete questions you don't need, reorder them, and add your own questions manually. Quizrow uses GPT-4o-mini to generate questions grounded in the content you provide. The AI reads your document and writes questions about what the text actually says - not generic questions about the topic. We always recommend reviewing questions before sharing, especially for technical or specialised content where precision matters. One review pass is usually enough to catch anything that needs adjustment.

Yes. For multiple choice questions, the AI generates the question, all four answer options, and marks the correct one. Quizrow then grades multiple choice responses automatically when participants submit. For open-ended questions, you can optionally add a model answer that participants see after submitting - helpful when you want them to compare their response against a reference answer.

Yes. The AI can generate quiz questions from content written in any language the model supports, including English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, and many others. The generated questions match the language of your source content, so a Dutch document produces Dutch questions.
